Snowobarding Anyone??

So today was free day at Sunpeaks (for Kamloopsians that is) and since none of have seasons passes this year we decided to take advantage of it for the first time. Needless to say quite a few people decide to do the same thing. Anyways with my lovely sore toe I only lasted one run. So I took a few pictures, met dad and Tyson for lunch, read a book, got swarmed by asians (this was a wee bit scary as I couldn't keep up with what language they were speaking).

After all that we went home sat around, drove to Bre's, found out my truck won't start, got a different vehicle, had a delicious Starbucks tea, went to the hockey game and now I am back home in bed giving you a long and boring summery of my day........

I have a little story to go along with these...

A few co-workers and I went on a little trip to head office.....very fun.....some were in the 48 hours we were gone I lost my telephoto lens. In the mean time we had a contest going on at work and we had some money. So I spent my money on a new lens. I had bought it earlier this day and just had to test it out :)

So crazy thing...I think summer is gone....maybe???

It is soooo cold!!!!! maybe I shouldn't complain yet because we haven't felt nothing yet...

Sunshine and Summertime

Well summer is well on it's way.....hard to believe it's going by so fast. Soon we will be complaining about the cold....oh wait we don't want to think about that!!!!!

We have been going out to the lake a lot this past little while since the boys have bought their own wakeboards. The other day they thought it would be a good idea to get up early and be on the lake before the other boaters. So here are a few shots from our six am wakeboarding stint...

A Day Off

Hey All,

Well what a fun Saturday. The first one I have had off in a little while. I do like my job I promise :) Anyways I picked up my best friend Nadine whom I haven't seen in a month for a day on the town. We decided to take a walk down by the river but it was a little chilly so we didn't last for that long. After the walk we went to the mall to warm up a bit and then to Starbucks to get some hot drinks.

Anyways Nadine was also going to a birthday party that night so I dropped her off at her house and then waiting for another good friend of mine to get off work. Anyways I met her at the best dollar store around to by candy for our movie night and found out it was closed. We were very disappointed but decided Walmart was a good alternative. Long story short in a few minutes we could be found in our usual spot...curled up on her very comfy bed watching the movies we had picked out eating a tub of sour worms.

All in all it was an awesome way to spend my day off....

Starting Again...

So this is the blog that I used while I was on holidays in Australia....hence the name "In The Land Down Under". I promise to change that soon. I decided since I had this account and it was just sitting here not being used I would use it for my photography. Now I don't promise to update it tooooooo much but whenever I get a picture or a story or something that I think rate up it will go for all you to see :)

Here is a picture I took a little while ago after painting. I got a little frustereated with what I was actually doing and painted over it....with a million different colours. This mess is the ending result and needless to say I don' t think my mom liked it to terribly much haha.
